Alice hates ...

Yeah, when I saw the mock up of my story in today's paper, I suppose they hadn't quite picked a good one yet. It was cute in the layout though. They settled with "Going Back to School IN NEW DUDS". I approve.

So in accordance with the weekend's predetermined schedule of fun, tonight I'm having a dinner party and game night.

Games on tap: Puerto Rico, Cranium, Balderdash, Fact or Crap (and for later more intimate ass-kicking session) MarioKart DS. (You're going down. You know who you are.)

Dinner: Pork chops of Dad's favorite creamy/tasty variety, mashed potatoes, greek salad (Yes, Rachel, my goal is to make one as good as we had the other night), cake (chocolate variety with white frosting) and if I have time I'll bake cookies.

But then again, I've been saying that for a while now. We'll see how it goes.

Also, I'll probably make broccoli because I bought a fresh stem last week or so, and I should probably use it. At least cook it so I can use it in lunchies next week.

And I should make tea, too. And I want to mop the floor again, because I don't think I did a very good job yesterday. We'll see about that too, I might be running out of time here.

Game plan:
1. Get off work at 5.
2. Pick up Waffles. (5:15)
3. Get home. (5:40)
4. Change into pink tank top (5:42)
5. Start cooking.

So according to that plan, I say my peeps (i.e., you) can show up around 6, 6:30. I'll be ready. Dinner should be ready around 7, and we can start Puerto Rico right after dinner.

Oh, I have to make cinnamon rolls tonight too. :D
