And one more thing--
Published Sunday, July 01, 2007 by Alice Q inI'm creating copy, filling space, keeping the readers intereseted. Let's keep the ball rolling here, with more of my mostly entertaining thoughts.
I just paid ASU $100. In parking tickets.
Are you asking yourself why? You should be. The anti-establishment answer would be that ASU is holding my education hostage over fees they have no right to charge me, since they are not a law enforcement agency anyway.
The anti-Alice POV would be that, Alice is a slacker who is financially irresponsible and shouldn't be let out on public streets anyway.
The real answer would be some mix of the two. I (irresponsibily) let several tickets pile up, and ASU wouldn't let me register for Fall until I'd paid up.
And now, I should be okay to register for Fall. Ick...
I'm really starting to hate school, know that? Just really truly. Ready to be done. Hate that I have another year. Hate that I'm a slacker and have no one to blame for that except me. (And the souless entity that is ASU, of course)
Now I have to wait till noon to register. It's sunday, after all.
Oh, you know what else I did recently? I bought and in less than four hours, LOST my copy of Harvest Moon DS. ::sigh:: I was so ready to woo those farm girls! Oh, the flowers I would give!!!!
Basically, I bought it about two weekends ago, with Pokemon Pearl. I opened the box, read the book, stuck the cartridge in my jeans, layed on a couch while playing Pokemon with Waffles, took nap, followed through rest of day, check jeans before bed, and could not find.
And honestly, as my fans and admirers would tell you, that's pretty much par for the course for Alice. Dang it.
So I'm stuck (happily) collecting my Pokemon. It's fun, I'm not really complaining, but I do feel like an idiot when I think about it. 'Specially since I specifically held off till Summer to buy it anyway, so I wouldn't destroy my GPA and give up on sleep entirely.
And now, I won't just run out and rebuy it, since I'm TRYING to save money, and blowing 70$ every weekend on games or music at ZIA isn't a good idea.
I only went to Zia to get Icky Thump. I swear, that's all I walked away with. I was good!
Okay, I'll post again when I register. Three in one day, I know you're excited. :D
Firstly, didn't I buy you Harvest Moon for your birthday? I thought I did. I know that I bought you a couple DS games.
Secondly, all school systems are set up like that. Even Estrella. If you're a moron and park where you're obviously not supposed to park, then yeah. You have to pay fines before you can sign up for classes. They'll even withhold awards and certificates you've completed until you've paid your debt.
Thirdly, Icky Thump...I wants.
You did buy me wonderful games, but neither was Harvest Moon. You bought me final fantasy and children of mana. And I love both. :D
Ah... That's right...
